We will recycle all IT related items including computers, hard drives, laptops, mobile phones, cables, hard drives, memory, networking equipment & servers.
When disposing of redundant IT equipment, it is important to ensure all personal records will be deleted. In addition, there may be other sensitive information stored such as access codes, financial details and photographs.
iNet Group takes data security very seriously and ensures that all data is completely erased. We can also provide onsite shredding of your Hard Drives at your premises.
With over 600 registered IT Asset Disposal companies in the UK, there are a few questions that need to be asked -
Do they have a Waste Carrier license?
Will they provide a Waste Transfer Note for each collection?
Will they provide detailed asset reports for all equipment collected?
Are they ISO 9001 & 14001 accreditation?
Are they registered with the Environment Agency?
iNet Group is registered with the Environment Agency as an Upper Tier Waste Carrier [permit CBDU74984].
We also hold a T11 exemption permit which allows us to repair, refurbish or dismantle Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (hazardous or non-hazardous) [permit C1910285].
As part of the collection proceedure you will be issued with a waste transfer note and certificate of data destruction. All items are recycled closely following Best Available Treatment Recovery and Recycling Techniques (BATRRT) and treatment of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Guidance.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive) is the European Community directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) which, together with the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC, became European Law in February 2003.
This means that businesses and organisations can no longer simply dispose of their redundant IT equipment in the way that they dispose of their general waste. As the process is complex, businesses and organisations often used the service of external IT Asset Disposal companies.
When recycling equipment it is always in line with WEEE Legislation and EC Environmental regulations. Every item we process is either re-used, refurbished or recycled, ensuring that absolutely nothing ends up as landfill. We never export waste to developing countries.
